Newfields - Julia A. “Judy” Cronshaw, 93, of Newfields, died December 2, 2012, in her home on Pleasant Street, in which she had lived continuously since 1935, when at 16 she married the late Walter R. Cronshaw.
She was born in Exeter on February 11, 1919, a daughter of William and Bernice (Kopka) Rusine.
She was an impeccable housekeeper and devoted wife of Walter, who predeceased her in 2005. She was also predeceased by her two sons, Walter in 1990 and Kenneth in 2012.
Judy leaves a daughter, Gail Clough of Kittery, and a sister Mary Standish of Durham. She also leaves granddaughter Julie Geller of Portsmouth who was with her at the time of her passing. Mrs. Cronshaw and the late Mr. Cronshaw enjoyed a special relationship with Julie and a bond that will transcend their lives. She leaves behind five other grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her true love was gardening for which she displayed a unique talent.
