Dahlonega, Ga. - R. A. "Tite" Posey, age 92, died January 29, 2013, in Dahlonega, Ga. with family Joe and Linda Thorne by his side.

Born Oct. 29, 1919 in Clarkesville, TN, he lived in Kentucky, South Florida, New Hampshire and Georgia. He worked for and retired from Pan American Airlines in 1977.

Throughout his retirement he enjoyed time spent with his stepchildren, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also was a true "Jack of all Trades" as evidenced by his many home improvement accomplishments.

Survivors include his stepchildren, Wayne Gilcris of Groveton, N.H., Linda Thorne of Jasper, Ga., Ronald Perry of Newmarket, N.H. and their families.

Tite was predeceased by his wife Laura Posey and stepdaughter Shirley Hill.

A Graveside Service will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Portsmouth, N.H. on Friday, March 1st, 2013 at 11 a.m.
